NFL Week 11 – Can’t Miss Games

Good grief it’s already Thursday!? Either I’m becoming a very lazy blogger or these weeks are going by exceedingly fast! Last week I forgot about the Thursday games, but this week I will not make the same mistake again! Here are the must see games this week for the NFL & lucky enough we have a Thursday tilt that will certainly be worth watching. With 9 games finished, every game has some decent sized playoff implications. This week gives us 8 games that are worth the time.

Also, there should be a barrage of posts today. I have a few lined up & all I need to do is post them so keep checking back.

ROAD HOME PREDICTION
The Bears have a nightmare schedule coming up so if they really want to be a playoff team they need to win this one. The Dolphins are no push overs though. Oddly enough they are only a game out of the Wild Card. They are very much in it.
It’s not every day a couple of 2-7 teams combine for a “must see” game but Dallas’s eruption over the Giants last week have to make you pause. Dallas is talented enough to get to 9-7 & a win here puts them 2-0 in the Jason Garrett era. Very very interesting.
This one is going to be great. Washington HAS to bounce back after being humiliated at home by the Eagles on Monday Night. The Titans have to win this one to get back even with Indy assuming Indy loses to NE. If Indy wins & the Titans lose then that’s bad!
Maybe Favre has one last good game in him, but my thinking is that Green Bay walks into Minneapolis & hammers Minnesota. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out with Favre & whether or not he finishes the season. Green Bay goes to 7-3.
Possibly the best game of the week. Darren McFadden is for real & Oakland has enough weapons on the outside to keep the Steelers honest. Oakland also has a very good defense. Pittsburgh needs the win, but if they lose then things get wild in the AFC. Don’t count out OAK.
Great to see the Colts & Patriots lock horns when both are great teams, but Indianapolis is so beat to hell that it might not matter. The Patriots defense hasn’t been great so Indianapolis should score, but if the Colts are to win they’ll have to do it with their defense & that’s always and iffy proposition.
Possibly the most important game of the week. With the Giants getting hammered by Dallas, both teams are 6-3 & Philly has the tiebreaker. The Giants can change all that with a win, but if they couldn’t stop Jon Kitna, how in the blue hell are they going to stop Vick?
Sort of an odd game, but Tampa really hasn’t beaten anyone this year & the 49ers are playing better lately. The 3-6 49ers could still win the West while the Bucs need to keep winning if they want to get that last Wild Card spot. Very interesting matchup that both teams need to win.
