That’s 38 tight ends right there. These are all the tight ends from the depth charts provided by Phil Steele in his 2010 annual.

How about Reid Fragel for Ohio St.!? Good grief. The guy is 6-8/260lbs and he’s behind Jake Stoneburner on the depth chart! Fragel seems more like a blocking TE. Last year he played in every game as a true freshman but didn’t make any catches. Last season Stoneburner was a rFR and played in all 13 games, starting 3 of them yet only caught 2 balls for 30-yards.

How about the beef Penn St. has at the position? They have 3 guys among the 7 biggest in the conference!
